Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 22, 2026
What this policy covers
Cookies and browser storage can remember settings or collect information about use of a website. This policy explains what is set on loudscale.com when you visit.
Cookies and storage we set
LoudScale uses Google Analytics 4 and PostHog to measure traffic, engagement, and interactions on loudscale.com. These tools are loaded on every visit, without a consent prompt, so we can understand how the site is used and improve it.
Google Analytics 4 may set cookies such as
_ga,
_ga_*,
_gid, and
_gcl_au.
PostHog may use cookies or local storage with names beginning with
ph_,
including a distinct identifier used to attribute sessions and a
session-replay recording when enabled.
We also use a small amount of first-party local storage to remember UI state (for example, whether a section has been dismissed). No third-party advertising cookies are set by this site.
What we track
- Page views, navigation paths, referrers, and UTM campaign parameters.
- Scroll depth and on-page engagement time, including visibility changes.
- Clicks, including outbound link clicks and form field interactions.
- Form submissions (without the submitted values).
- Copy and paste events on page content.
- Site search queries from
?q=,?query=,?s=, and?search=. - JavaScript errors and unhandled promise rejections, for stability.
- Session replay (canvas and input) via PostHog for product and UX research.
How analytics are configured
Google Analytics 4 is configured with advertising features and Google signals enabled, and uses the beacon transport for reliable delivery. PostHog is configured with full autocapture, rage-click and dead-click detection, console log capture, performance metrics, heatmaps, and session recording at 100% sampling. PostHog is set to create person profiles for every visitor and ignores the Do Not Track signal so we get a complete picture of usage.
