What this policy covers

Cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) can remember settings or help measure how a website is used. This policy explains what loudscale.com uses, why, and how you control it.

Consent first

Non-essential analytics and marketing cookies are off by default. When you first visit, we show a cookie banner so you can:

  • Accept all allow analytics and optional marketing measurement.
  • Reject non-essential keep only essential cookies; analytics and marketing stay off.
  • Customize choose analytics and marketing separately.

Your choice is stored in first-party local storage underls_cookie_consent_v1so we can remember it on later visits. You can change it anytime viaCookie settings in the site footer or by clearing site data in your browser.

We implement Google Consent Mode v2 in Basic mode: the Google tag script is not loaded until you allow analytics. Consent signals foranalytics_storage,ad_storage,ad_user_data, andad_personalizationdefault to denied. Withdrawing analytics disables measurement, removes the site’s GA cookies and reloads the page to stop the previously loaded tag. Save any unfinished form or tool work before changing this setting.

Cookie categories

1. Essential

Required for security, basic site operation, and storing your consent choice. These do not require opt-in.

  • ls_cookie_consent_v1first-party local storage recording consent categories and timestamp.
  • Tool access: ls_tool_suite_access_v2 holds email, an access token, scope and activity timestamps for up to 30 days. A compatibility record ls_tool_suite_unlocked stores email, scope and unlock time. Older access records are migrated or removed by the tools.
  • Tool preferences and drafts: first-party browser storage remembers inputs, provider/model settings and dismissed panels. Drafts may contain the text you enter. These records are not used for advertising and remain until removed or site data is cleared; session-only panel state ends with the browser session.
  • AI settings: ls_tool_ai_prefs_v2 stores provider preferences. The API key uses session storage (ls_tool_ai_secret_session_v2) by default. Choosing “Remember on this device” stores it locally (ls_tool_ai_secret_v2) until you remove it or clear site data.

2. Analytics (optional)

When you allow analytics, we load Google Analytics 4(measurement ID G-BNF4NSDENC) with cookies such as_ga and_ga_*. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. Analytics helps us understand traffic, content performance, and conversion funnels.

3. Marketing (optional)

When both analytics and marketing are allowed, we may enable advertising-related Consent Mode signals and related Google measurement features (for example Google signals and ad personalization where applicable). If marketing is denied, we set ads data redaction and keep ad storage denied. We do not load separate non-Google ad networks on this site by default.

What analytics can measure (when allowed)

  • Page views, path, title, referrer, and content group (section of the site).
  • Campaign parameters such as UTM tags and Google click IDs when present in the URL.
  • Scroll depth milestones and approximate engaged time while the tab is visible.
  • Outbound link clicks, file downloads, and phone/email link clicks.
  • Form start and form submit (form identifiers only not field values).
  • Lead conversions such as Opportunity Brief requests (generate_lead).
  • Site search terms from common query parameters (q, query, s, search).
  • Truncated JavaScript error messages for site stability (no intentional PII).
  • CTA clicks where marked in the interface.

We do not use PostHog, session replay, heatmaps that record your screen, or unmasked form-input recording on this site.

How Google uses data

When analytics or marketing is enabled, Google may process data as described inGoogle’s “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services”and theGoogle Privacy Policy. You can also use theGoogle Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Your choices and rights

Use the on-site banner or footer Cookie settingscontrol to accept, reject, or change categories. You can also block or delete cookies via browser settings (Chrome Privacy and security → Cookies; Firefox Privacy & Security; Safari Privacy). EU/UK users may use industry opt-out tools such asYour Online Choiceswhere applicable.
